Please see the message below from Annette concerning sponsorship of one of our students. It would be so exciting for David to get to go to the International Convention in the U.S. He is an awesome kid and super smart! This is a great opportunity for him and as he is a senior this year will be his last chance to go to this competition in the U.S.

You can email me or contact Jim Pack at Restoration Church if you would like to make a donation. Please read the letter from Annette below about the opportunity.

Hi everyone!
I hope you are all doing well. This year has taken off so fast for us as Ruach!! We are already in our second quarter! This year we attended the Central American Student Convention here in Honduras. As some of you my already know this is the prerequisite for the International Student Convention held in the United States. Lance and I were extremely proud of our students this year as they dominated the convention in every area. Not only did they win medals and trophies, but they also demonstrated Godly character throughout the event.

As we do every year, we are now headed to the U.S. for the International Convention held at The University of Central Missouri in Warrenburg Missouri. The convention is the last week of May. This year's convention may be a record breaker for us in the number of students going! We currently have 8 students on the list to go, which is double our normal amount.

Every year we work to find sponsors for 1 outstanding scholarship student from our school to the International Convention. This year we have selected David Geovany, a senior at Ruach. David has been with us since 5th grade. He is famous for being a brainiac, his goofy sense of humor, big bear hugs and a love for American football (his favorite team is the Chicago Bears). This year David competed in many events and especially stood out as team captain of the Bible Bowl and Pace Bowl competitions at the regional convention. These "bowls" compete with other schools of their knowledge of academics and bible. Ruach won first place in both. David is a scholarship student at our school. He is in our honors math program and is our first student to study calculus.
Another necessity for the International Convention is sending teachers with the students. Obviously without teachers we cannot send students...small detail!

The cost to send a student or teacher to the convention is $1,500.00. This covers all costs for their trip including visas and airfare.

We are looking for sponsors for David and 2 teachers.

If you are interested in helping please email Lance/Annette or contatct Jim Pack with Restoration Church 817-354-3500 for payment details. We are aiming to purchase plane tickets no later than May 6th. Please pray and consider helping us go to ISC. Thanks!
