They began by explaining to us about atoms and molecules....
They had an awesome presentation really explaining why the pickle would glow and about the color and of different elements....
Then they put the "electrodes" made from two nails and an extension cord into the pickle.... explaining that they nails could not touch because if they did it would explode...which they showed us the first extension cord they had used which they had fried.... :)
We turned out the lights and ..... you could hear the electricity sizzling then suddenly... GLOWING PICKLE!!!!
