Wednesday meant playing Checkers and Chess....Preaching....and Singing events for our students.
Gerson was competing in preaching. Unfortunately last year I missed him preaching, so this year there was no way I was going to miss him. Miss Dunia and I were there waiting on him when he arrived...not quite put together yet...
The Judges prayed with him before he began and afterward were very encouraging as they shared with him about how meaningful his message was. He really did a great job! My favorite line from his sermon was " Seeing is a function of the eyes but Vision is a function of the heart." He shared a very good message about Vision and having the Faith to see it come to pass.
He will compete in preaching at International Convention in May.
