Here is my kitchen. My kitchen is great - it has cabinets! Many kitchens in Honduras do not have any cabinets or closets. I have cabinets and two huge closets in the bedrooms! My kitchen has a door that leads out to the patio area, which is where my "washing machine" is ....also known as the pila!.

I have attached a picture of it below. Maria taught me how to wash on it this weekend. I washed one pillow case. It is HARD work! She will be coming to my two times a week to help me with the house and the laundry! I think she got a kick out of me trying to wash on the pila....I was tired after the pillow case!
